The VWR UV-3100PC is a reliable and easy-to-use spectrophotometer with wide wavelength range, high sensitivity and powerful function. The VWR UV-3100PC comes with a variety of accessories that will help the user with personalizing the instrument. In addition, the large LCD display (320 x 240 pixels), High Precise A/D and easy to store RAM make the instrument completely unique. The application software offers all the necessary methods, which makes the VWR UV-3100PC ideal for advanced measurements within several fields, including chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutics, medicine and education.
  • High sensitivity and wide wavelength range

    The VWR UV-3100PC has a wavelength accuracy of 0.5 nm, and a wavelength range of 190 nm - 1100 nm, both features increasing the usability of the instrument.

  • PC-controllable application software

    The VWR UV-3100PC is equipped with an application software that allows for PC control of the instrument. The user can download data to a PC by using a USB interface.

  • Compatible with optional accessories and NanoCuvette™ One

    The VWR UV-3100PC is compatible with optional accessories such as an automatic eight-cell changer and a peltier thermostatted single cell holder. The VWR-3100PC is also compatible with NanoCuvette™ One (15 mm beam height).

The supplied application software “UV-Vis Analyst” allows PC control of the spectrophotometer. The internal memory can save 200 sets of data and 200 standard curves which is convenient for check and reload. Data can be downloaded to PC via USB interface. The VWR UV-3100PC includes the following methods: Basic mode, quantitative, wavelength scan, multi-wavelength, DNA/protein and kinetics. Thus the application software offers all the important methods for routine measurements.

The VWR UV-3100PC is compatible with a variety of optional accessories, including an automatic eight-cell changer that can be used in order to read up to eight cells automatically, and a peltier thermostatted single cell holder that can be used for obtaining precise temperature controlled measurements. The wide range of different accessories available for the VWR UV-3100PC will help to adapt and adjust the units in order to meet specific needs of the user. Some accessories are supplied with the UV-3100PC, including 2 quartz cells, 4 glass cells, 4-position cell holder (10 mm), dust cover and software.
In addition, the VWR UV-3100PC features a beam z height of 15 mm and a minimum spectral bandwidth of 2 mm, making the spectrophotometer compatible with NanoCuvette™ One (15 mm beam height).
